The weekend after Ava's B-day we had planned a trip to go camping at Lake McConaughy. We had a lot of fun and the girls did great sleeping in the tent and had a ton of fun playing in the sand and the water. The worst part of the trip were the biting flies which caused a meltdown by the girls and in turn by Matt. The best part was getting to hang out with our friends that we don't get to see very often, the Flecks. We all can't wait to go back.

G-pa and G-ma Alexander came up to visit and Papa was taking Ava for a ride in her wagon in the water.
I think we were at the lake for a total of 5 minutes and Ava was soaking wet and covered in sand.
